Although it does meet my basic criteria of only sewing for people that I share an address with or have DNA in common with. oops bad grammar, oh well it is 4:37 am. Including the main fabric, because my gosh there's only so much I can handle lined burlap.

Eh, I think it's cheaper and easier to just pick up a couple 100 packs of cheap sandwich bags. Good idea of the shower curtain though! I use them (and plastic tablecloths) for tracing patterns. :)Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10477887672613694373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4554234021420229727.post-50010450166080248702014-06-25T01:35:08.343-05:002014-06-25T01:35:08.343-05:00The messenger bag is going to be awesome! Plus not everyone is going to want the same bag. :)

I can't wait to show you the jute bag I'm making my messanger bag from. I have done tablecloths for an event, chair covers for another etc. I try and do a minimum amount of time per day on it (say 30 mins) and have some sort of progress tally to keep me motivated. A plain white plastic shower curtain might be a cheap way to get plastic linings for the bags if you wanted to do that.SewRuthiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09277062926597842242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4554234021420229727.post-18913534608456186252014-06-24T23:30:30.466-05:002014-06-24T23:30:30.466-05:00Those are so cute! I think the mixture of burlap and non-burlap bags will work well, breaks up the look since you are up for 200 ... and definitely make yourself that messenger bag as the reward for your hard work ...
